The Challenge
Engaging with senior Marketing and HR staff at GSF quickly revealed a challenge of epic proportions. Coping with all corporate clothing and safety footwear requirements for 1500 plus staff across 65 locations, each with different departmental allocations both by budget and product quantity, was understandably proving somewhat cumbersome!
In addition, each individual’s requirements needed validating by the central HR department prior to collating and creating a PO on the supplier.
The Solution
Our fully integrated bespoke web ordering system was tailored to meet all GSF’s unique needs. The system was programmed to allow branch administrators to input individuals’ requirements, blocking any over-allocation items prior to submission to head office for approval.
Order input is now quick and easy and previously experienced errors eliminated. GSF have proved that this has significantly reduced valuable admin time at both branch and head office. As the system is complemented by a powerful, executive reporting suite, GSF now have full visibility of every stage of the process, cost centre budgets and overall trends and spends.
The ordering process for our workwear has improved no end! Each of our branches now has their own portal which enables them to order uniform for their staff. Once submitted, I can oversee it and either confirm or decline the order.
